The installation
This photograph shows a dome CCTV camera mounted close to the ceiling beside a glazed doorway. The white surface cable route follows the corner of the wall and the door frame, keeping the installation compact.
Planning camera coverage
Doorways are useful points to consider when planning a CCTV system. The camera position, lighting, opening door and movement through the entrance all need to be considered together. The final view should be checked on the recording system rather than judged from the camera’s position alone.
